Low Cal Scrumptious Pumpkin Scones

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups white flour1 cup whole wheat flour2 tsp baking powder1 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice1/4 tsp salt1/4 cup chilled butter1/4 olive oil1/3 cup nonfat milk1/2 cup canned pumpkin
Directions
Preheat oven to 400

Mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, pumpkin spice and salt. Cut in butter and add olive oil until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well in center of dry mix, set aside.

In another bowl, mix beaten egg, milk and pumpkin. Add to dry mix and mix until nearly smooth.

Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface. Quickly knead dough by folding and pressing neatly for 10 to 12 strokes or until smooth.

Pat dough into an 8 inch round circle. Cut into 12 wedges.

Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Best served when warm-yummy!
