Red Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
1/2 head red cabbage1/2 c. oil1/2c plus 2 tbsp red wine vinegar3 tbsp sugar4 tsp salt1 tsp seasoned salt1/4 tsp black pepper1/4 tsp onion powder
Directions
shred cabbage so its ireregular with some fine and some course shreds into a bowl. Add oil, vinegar, sugar,salt, seasoned salt, pepper and onion powder. Mix well. Let stand several hours or overnight to allow flavors to mellow, and slaw to achieve a deep red color
