9-inch Unbaked Pie Shell1/3 cup margarine or butter2 squares (10 g. each) unsweetened chocolate3 eggs2/3 cup sugar1/2 tsp salt1 cup light corn syrup1 cup pecan halves or broken pieces
Prepare pie shell. Preheat oven to 375°. Heat margarine and chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted; cool slightly. Beat eggs, sugar, salt, chocolate mixture and corn syrup with hand beater. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.
Bake until set, about 40 to 50 minutes. Cool slightly. Serve warm or refrigerate. Serve with sweetened whipped cream if desired. Refrigerate any leftovers.
