Baking Powder Biscuits

Ingredients
2 cups flour3 teaspoons baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1/3 teaspoon shortening3/4 cup milk
Directions
combine dry ingredients together. cut in shortening until it is in chunks about the size of peas. Lightly stir in liquid with a fork. Turn onto a floured surface and knead lightly 8 strokes. Pat out 1/2 inch thick, then cut out biscuits. Place onto a baking sheet and bake 12 minutes at 450 degrees.
