White Bean Chili

Ingredients
2 cans chicken2 cans white navy beans, drained1 chopped onion1 clove garlic, minced1 can chopped green chilies2 cups chicken broth2 tsp chili powder
Directions
Saute onion and garlic. Smash one can of beans. Dump everything into pot and simmer 20 minutes

For a lower sodium version, use homemade stock and poached/boiled chicken breasts.

    I made this recipe but I omitted the chicken broth and substituted it with plain ol' water. It tasted pretty darn good and oliminated tons of sodium. I also omitted the chicken and it helped to cut back on some of the calories. - 9/4/07
