1/2 cup wholemeal plain flour1/2 cup self raising flour1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda3/4 cup cocoa2 large eggs lightly beaten1 1/4 cups artificial sweetener like splenda that can be used for baking replacing sugar one for one.1 teaspoon vanilla essence1 1/2 tablespoons sunflower oil200 g thick vanilla yoghurt no fat used in this recipe200 g apple puree
Makes 16 servings
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit Line a 30 cm x 20 cm (12in x 8 in) tin with baking paper.
Sift flours, bicarb and cocoa into a large bowl and make a well.
Whisk eggs, sweetener,vanilla, oil, yoghurt and apple together then add to the flours and mix until smooth.
Spoon mixture into tin and bake for 30 min or until cooked. cool in pan for 5 mins before turning out to cool. Cut into 16 serving sizes and store.
If you like berries , you can add 150 g berries to mix (not included in calorie count here)
