Ingredients
Directions
Bananas: 2, better if a little oldFlour, white: 1.5 CupsEggs: 2Baking Soda: 1 tspApplesauce: 1/2 cupSugar: 1 cup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mash up bananas, then add sugar or sugar substitute. Stir until well blended.
For best results, mix flour and baking soda separately, then trade off slowly adding the flour mixture with the eggs and applesauce, until fully blended.
Pour the mixture into two bread pans and cook for 60 minutes. However, you can also turn these into muffins and cook for only 30 minutes. We have used all kinds of pans and tested with a toothpick to make sure it's done.
I cut up the pieces very small to keep the calories low. If feeling indulgent, add a tiny bit of butter. Tastes best when warm!
Note: The prep time might be longer for beginners. Once you know what you're doing you'll speed right through this. Using a mixer helps!
