1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour2 cups white flour2 tsp baking powder1 2/3 c warm water
Australian damper bread .... I modified it with some whole wheat flour. Mix all ingredients till moistened, then press into a greased 9-in round pie pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven (though traditionally you are supposed to bake it in a dutch oven over coals) for 20-25 minutes, until browned. Cut into 8 'pie' pieces and serve warm, with whatever yummy fillings you can think of! Healthy sandwich cheese and meats, low-fat peanut butter and sugar-free jam or maybe just some honey.
