Ground Turkey Chili (up north style!)

Ingredients
One Pound Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey1 cup chopped onion1 cup chopped celery1 cup chopped green pepperone pound whole wheat elbow noodles4 qt (128 oz) no salt added tomato juice1 can chili beans (with juice)1 can dark red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)3 tbsp chili powder3 jalapenos, diced3 cloves garlic, diced2 tbsp ground cumin
Directions
Brown turkey in frying pan with onion, celery, and garlic. Drain excess fat as needed. In the meantime, cook noodles according to package directions.

Combine meat mixture, noodles, and all other ingredients in a large kettle and simmer over medium heat 30-60 minutes, the longer you simmer the more the flavors will come out. Top with shredded cheese and sour cream as desired (not included in nutritional info). Enjoy! Makes about 16 servings.

    Interesting ... I know they put chili on spaghetti in Cinncinnati but this was neat ... I am making it as I spark (soy noodles for me) and the preview tastes are AMAZING!

    hehe, well it does say at the end of the recipe to top with cheese and/or sour cream if desired!! :) just trying to keep it versatile for the rest of the country, haha
