oven-cooked rice

Ingredients
1.5 cups boiling water or broth (i use broth)1 tbs. butter or margarine (i use unsalted butter).5 cups brown rice.5 tsp. salt (optional) I leave it out if my broth is high in sodium
Directions
Bring water or broth to a boil. Add it to rice and butter (and salt if using) in an oven safe caserole dish. Stir until butter is melted. Cover and bake in 350 oven for 35 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
