5 apples1/2c. water1/4 tsp salt1 tbsp honey1 tsp or 1 tbsp cinnamon
Peel and quarter apples and place into a bot with the water.
Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer under apples are tender enough to be stabbed easily with a fork.
Remove from heat, add honey and cinnamon and mash with a potato masher until you have the consistency you desire.
Add as much or as little cinnamon as desired. There is no sugar needed, between the sweetness of the apples and the honey it is enough.
