Easy Cabbage Roll Casserole

Ingredients
2 lbs ground sirloin, cooked and drained1 medium head cabbage, chopped1 cup onion, chopped1 tsp salt1 tsp garlic powder1 cup brown rice, uncooked1 can 29 oz of tomato sauce2 cans 14 oz beef broth
Directions
Cook and drain ground sirloin. In a large bowl, combine the onion, salt, garlic powder, uncooked brown rice, and tomato sauce. Stir in ground sirloin and chopped cabbage. Place in 9x13 pan. Pour beef broth over dish. Bake, covered for 60 min. at 350 degrees. Stir, uncover and bake for an additional 30 min.

    I used a jar of pasta sauce instead and 1 can of each chicken and beef broth, mostly because thats what I had on hand.I didnt see anywhere what to do with the cabbage so I just put it on top, then mixed in later. It was very good! The kids even liked it!! - 3/23/09
