Dutch Baby
- Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
Directions
* 1/2 cup Flour*1/2 cup NonFat Milk* 1 Egg*3 Tbs Butter
Heat oven to 425.
In a small mixing bowl, mix until just blended. Add egg and mix.
Place butter in 9 inch pie dish, and melt in heated oven.
As soon as butter is melted, remove from oven and pour in batter. Place back in oven.
Bake for about 15 mins, or until edges are browned. Note: center will rise while baking, and fall when taken out (don't worry, that's supposed to happen!). Also, I used an 8 inch casserole dish, and the edges got really high and slightly burnt on top.
To serve: cut dutch baby into quarters, then remove from pie dish. Servings may seem a little small, but topped with your favorite fruit, it's quite filling!
