Ingredients
Directions
3 c. white whole wheat flour (I use King Arthur brand)1 c. sucralose (Splenda)1 c. sugar1 tsp. baking sodadash of salt1/2 c. cocoa2 Tb. apple cider vinegar2 c. water (or coffee)1/3 c. canola oil1/3 c. unsweetened applesauce
*Note: White whole wheat flour is a fairly new product, but you can find it in most supermarkets. It feels and bakes more like refined flour, but it is a whole grain and so is much better for you.*
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients, stir until smooth.
Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the batter in the pan, and bake at 350 degrees for an hour, or until done.
Cut the pan into 24 pieces, either 8 x 3, or 6 x 4. Each piece is less than 120 calories! It's a great dessert or small snack, and it has good fiber because of the whole wheat flour.
