South of the Border Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
1 cup long grain rice2 whole chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned1/4 tp garlic salt2 tbls margarine1/2 cup sliced green onions with tops1 cup picante sauce4 oz processed cheese spread, diced
Directions
Prepare rice according to directions, omitting oil and salt.
Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt. Melt margarine in large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; cook about 5 minutes. Turn chicken over and add green onions to the pan. Cook an additional 5 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Place rice on serving platter. Remove chicken and onions from skillet and place over rice; keep warm.
Add picante sauce and cheese spread to skillet. Cook and stir til cheese is melted and mixture is hot. Pour cheese sauce over chicken.
