Not Quite Hungarian Goulash

Ingredients
1 lb very lean ground beef2 tbsp olive oil1 med onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced1 large red pepper, chopped2 cups broth (any kind)2 tbsp flour2 tbsp Hungarian paprika8 oz med size pasta2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, very finely minced (just 2 out of a can, not 2 cans)1 13 oz can diced tomatoes1 can beer (12 oz)salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Put on the pasta water to boil. Add pasta as soon as it is ready with a tsp of salt.
Brown beef in large skillet with olive oil.
Add chopped onion and peppers and garlic. Saute til soft. Add a little water if needed to keep from sticking.
Add paprika, salt and pepper.
Add tomatoes and bring to simmer.
Stir or whisk flour into broth and add that. Bring to simmer again and cook til it begins to thicken.
Add beer and simmer a few minutes.
Drain pasta and add to pan. Stir to mix.
