Bacon-Corn Chowder

Ingredients
1 pkg of REAL bacon bits -- 2 oz.3 cans of cream of potato soup3 cups milk, non-fat3 cups frozen whole kernel corn1 Large can of potato chuncks or 3 baked potatoes peeled and chopped into bite sizes
Directions
Pour soup, corn and milk into large saucepan or soup pot. Heat 5 minutes, add bacon bits, heat 5 more minutes. Simmer. Makes 8 one cup portions.

    This looks like a yummy dish but check out the sodium per serving. Over 1200 mg in one meal is a little too much for me. - 4/15/09

    I make this recipe all the time omitting the milk and using water or chicken broth (lactose intolerant), and 3 cans of creamed corn and real bacon. I also saute onions to throw in and sometimes if I have extra money, king crab. This is very easy to make and very tasty! In fact I made it last night! - 4/11/11
