Ingredients
1 Box Devil’s Food Cake Mix1 Can Solid Pack Pumpkin (15 oz.)
Directions
Mix the two ingredients together. Don't add anything else that may be mentioned on the box, such as eggs, oil, or water. The mixture will be very thick and you will be tempted to add in other things to make the batter smoother. DO NOT DO THIS! Place batter into muffin tins (or mini muffin tins) lined with paper, or sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12 regular or 36 mini muffins.

Serving Size: 1 Regular or 3 Mini Muffins.

Very Delicious! Even my boyfriend enjoyed them, and he hasn't enjoyed this diet food I've been making him go on along with me lately haha.

I did wait until they were cool to eat, but even the batter was delicious :-D

    I made 18 cupcakes rather than 12 to cut calories. - 6/19/08

Well, my hubby said they tasted, "Weird." But of course, he ate his. (No, I didn't reveal the ingredients ahead of time, but I did say they had no milk, eggs or sugar added.) Then I tasted one--while hot. Not great. But when they cooled completely, they were wonderful! So I am now a happy camper! - 7/9/07

Not sure what some people turn down about this recipe...it's one of my favorites that I've made for some time from the old WW days...VERY tasty. I have added a few teaspoons of water to help before baking, but nothing else. Picky-eater approved! - 2/4/09

These are fantastic..one of my favorite recipes. However, you really need to use an electric mixer when combining the ingredients. It would be far too difficult to mix properly by hand. I have also made them for my kids and their friends, adding milk chocolate chips....the kids just LOVE them. - 2/4/09

I made 12 muffins but still had plenty of batter left over so I just put it in a small baking dish and baked it lke a mini cake - 6/30/07

Definitely something that I will make again. So incredibly easy, and honestly, delicious too. I prefer the version with spice cake mix, but I wonder how it would be with a carrot mix... - 2/25/09

Made these last night & Wow! They are the most moist muffins & very chocolatey - me being a chocoholic loved them. Mine made 18 muffins so less in calories. Very easy to make. Will definitely make again to take care of my chocolate cravings. - 2/5/09

I just made this recipe with spice cake mix and it's really quite good. A simple pumpkin spice muffin. And we couldn't resist them when hot, and they were great! - 2/4/09

Delicious when they've cooled down. My new favorite. Also added a few scoops of protein powder to fill it out a bit more. - 2/19/13

For the record, Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe (which was in my pantry) has higher calories and fat content than the nutritional info presented above. Just a head's up for others who grabbed the box like I did. They're still baking so I haven't tried a muffin yet, but I will review them soon. :) - 3/21/12
