2 c quick oats1/2 c packed splenda brown sugar1/2 c wheat germ3/4 tsp ground cinnamon1 c all-purpose flour1 c craisins1/2 c honey1 egg beaten1/2 c applesauce2 tsp vanilla extract1/2 c roasted sunflower kernels1/4 c water
1. preheat oven to 350* Lightly greases a large bar pan (10x15)
2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon, flour, craisins, sunflower kernels. Make a well in the center, and pour in the honey, egg, applesauce, vanilla and water. Mix well using hands. Pat the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for 25-30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the bars begin to turn golden at the edges. Cool for 5 minutes, then cutinto bars while still warm. Do not allow bars to cool completely before cutting or they will be too hard to cut.
