George's spanish rice dinner

1 pkg mahatma spanish rice mix1 15 oz can black beans1 16 oz jar salsa1 16 oz bag frozen corn2 cups water1 cup low fat cheddar cheese1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey/ or chicken
brown ground beef or other meat . drain grease.
add other ingredients except for cheese.
cover and simmer until rice is done. Add cheese and put lid on until cheese is melted.
I serve this with lettuce and tomato.
