OMG, this recipe was wonderful. My husband had three servings!! We are making it again and having some bread with it next time. (just a small slice for me) - 9/8/09

This receipe was very easy to make and is very filling. I am not a huge fan of green peppers so I substituted zucchini and it was excellent. If you don't care for tomatoes, you won't like this receipe as it is very "tomatoey" tasting. All is all a great receipe worth trying. - 5/26/13

This was pretty good. I used 1 cup consomme and 1 cup low sodium beef broth also left out the beans. - 9/1/15

Surprisingly tastier than expected or how it looked. Not the most eye catching dinner. Need to stir once in a while to keep orzo from sticking to the bottom. Left off beans because I forgot but was fine without. - 3/4/15

Fast, Easy, Delicious! My husband and I both loved it, although I did add a 1/2tsp of dried Italian seasoning to the recipe and minced garlic instead of the garlic powder. - 8/16/11

Very good and very easy. I added a small zucchini and left out the peppers. I will use less liquid next time because this was more like a thick soup than a skillet meal. I served it in bowls with a yeast roll, but it is really too hot here for soup so I'll adjust it next time. - 4/13/11

I used ground turkey instead of beef and did not use any oil. My husband and I really liked this dish. We'll definitely make it again and again! - 4/5/11

This was easy, filling, and SO yummy!

I used Italian style stewed tomatoes because that's what I had on hand.. and added 2 cloves of garlic to the meat/onion/peppers, but that's just because I'm addicted to garlic and add extra to any recipe I have that calls for it. :) - 3/27/11

I loved this recipe the only change I made was to add a can of Rotel. - 2/8/11

Was pretty good. Used ground turkey, fire roasted tomatoes with garlic and the tomato paste was a basil, oregano kind. - 1/27/11

This was very good. The only changes I made were I added low sodium taco seasoning to the ground beef and I used a can of chili style beans. Will definitely make it again. thanks for sharing. - 1/22/11

It was easy to make and I like the onion, bell pepper, and tomatoes in the dish. However, I found it to be rather bland. Maybe I just made it wrong? - 1/20/11

I love orzo, so I wanted to love this. It was good, but missing something...not enough salt perhaps? I omitted the oil & peppers and used fresh garlic and Italian diced tomatoes. I may experiment with fresh or sundried tomatos and fresh basil - maybe omit the beans and add a little parmesan. - 9/19/10

So good and filling. Only thing I changed was I added about 1 cup of chopped zucchini (because at this time of the year I add it to everything I can) and a small can of mushrooms. Yum. - 8/25/10

This was incredible. I did substitute as did not have some ingredients. I used ground turkey - also vegetable broth and great nothern beans. I also added some basil. My husband ate two bowls of it. I made him buttered toated buns under the broiler with it. Will make over and over!!! - 7/12/10
