Ingredients
2 medium Tomatoes1 cup Onions6 Garlic clove1 lime2 tbsp CilantroDash Salt1/2 cup Green Chili Peppers
Directions
First, the ingredients must be fresh. Find a pepper that is the right amount of spice for your taste. You can also use green onions or the entire onion including greens for a slightly greener taste.

Chop onions, garlic, pepper, and tomatos. Combine in a bowl that is refridgerator safe. Add fresh cilantro, salt, and lime to taste.

Refridgerate over night and voila! Delicious, fresh, healthy homemade salsa!

A good idea (from those of us who were raised with mexican food and yummy salsa)...seed the tomatoes...your salsa will be less bitter that way - 8/22/07

This salsa is very delicious i make it as well, but here in the c'bean we add cucumbers, and then in the avocado season we add those along with hot pepper, and omit the tomatoes which is optional.A great feast. - 3/12/10

Excellent flavor. I added a bit of cumin to boost the flavor. I also threw in some chopped up bell pepper. - 2/19/08

An added 1/4 tsp. crushed cumin seed and some fresh cracked black pepper brings it closer to what I'm used to in my salsa...I use a chopped, seeded jalapeno for the "chili peppers" and a bit of freshly ground chili powder...I love the "fresh" ingredients route... - 2/10/08

Great recipe.............I cut down on the peppers as I am a garlic fan and not so much with the peppers. Thanks - 4/4/09

It is similar to Cheries Pico De Gallo! You would probably love it too! It has more peppers, red and green! - 2/13/09

I've always used canned, organic, fire-roasted tomatoes and I throw everything in a blender which eliminates chopping. When home-grown tomatoes become available I'll definitely try. I like the idea of having a chunkier, fresh salsa - acutually it looks more like pico.

I love salsa, and this sounds yummy! I prefer the non-cooked versions, like this one (chunky, not soupy)! Thanks for sharing! - 2/10/08

A half cup of onions works a little better, but it's up to a person's own taste - 12/20/17
