Ingredients
Directions
12 oz. bag no yolk egg noodles2 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless8 slices bacon2 tbsp olive oilfavorite jar of pasta sauce (2)1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz.)1 cup colby and monterey jack shredded cheese
Boil egg noodles and pour into large casserole baking dish. In a skillet, add olive oil, chicken breasts, and bacon slices. Cooking the bacon with the chicken will give the chicken a delicious smoky flavor. Cook on low heat for approximately 25 minutes, or until chicken and bacon are done. Bacon may take a few minutes longer if you use thick slices. Chicken should be browned on both sides. Cut the chicken into 1 inch pieces and crumble the bacon. Add meat onto top of noodles. Add 1 jar of pasta sauce, plus at least half of another jar (about 4 cups of sauce). Add diced tomatoes. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes at 375 degrees, or until cheese melts.
