Tex Mex Onion Rings

Ingredients
1 large collasial onion1 tbs of chili powder1 16 oz jar of salsaflourdash of saltdash of pepperolive oil
Directions
slice onion into thin rings, mandaline slicer works well
In a large bowl cover onion rings with salsa
In another dish (cake pan or other large shallow dish) mix together flour, chili powder, salt and pepper
heat oil in large skillet
take onion rings a few at a time and shake off excess salsa and coat with flour mixture, conitinue until all rings are coated
place coated ring in skillet in thin layers and 'fry'
to desired crispiness
drain on paper towels to remove excess oil
