Pesto Pasta Salad

Ingredients
Basil, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, Parmesan cheese, wheat pasta, peas, tomatoes, chopped green olives, salt, and pepper.
Directions
toast the pine nuts -- set aside to cool
Boil pasta until al dente, drain and set aside to cool
Thaw peas

To make pesto: Pulse basil and garlic in food processor, add pine nuts, lemon juice (Fresh - if you can), lemon zest and parmesan (freshly grated is best) and pulse, drizzle in olive oil. Taste test. May need to add salt and pepper.

Mix pasta, pesto, olives, tomatoes, and peas together. Taste. May need to add a bit more salt and/or pepper.
