Margarita Cheesecake

Ingredients
20 to 25 small pretzel sticks (about 1 ounce; optional)2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, at room temperature1/2 cup sour cream1/2 cup sugar2 eggs2 tablespoons each tequila and orange liqueurJuice and grated peel of 1 lime1 (9-inch) graham cracker crustLime slices (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Place pretzels, if using, in plastic sandwich bag; close or seal bag. Coarsely crush pretzels with a rolling pin. Set aside.
2. In food processor, blend cream cheese, sour cream and sugar until very smooth. Add eggs; process until completely combined. Add tequila, liqueur, juice and peel; process until well blended. Pour into crust. Sprinkle crushed pretzels around perimeter of cheesecake. Bake 40 minutes or until center is just set. Let cool about 30 minutes. Refridgerate until thoroughly chilled. (Cheesecake will firm up as it cools.) Garnish with lime slices, if desired.

Variation: Before pouring into crust, add 8-10 drops green food coloring; process until color is evenly distributed. Or after pouring into crust, place drops of food coloring in a pattern on top of batter and swirl with the blade of a knife to create a design.
