Best White or Cinnamon Bread

Egg, fresh, 1 large 7 cups bread flourMilk, nonfat, 1 cup Salt, 2 tbsp Margarine, soft, 0.50 cup Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) Granulated Sugar, 0.50 cup Yeast, bakers, 1 ounce MargarineCinnamonHoneyAlmondsAlmond extractButter
Heat water, milk and margarine for 90 seconds in microwave. Combine 1 cup of flour, sugar and yeast in mixing bowl or bread machine - set to dough cycle. Add milk/ water mixture with sugar/ flour mixture. Mix well, then add the rest of the ingredients and let it knead till all the flour is mixed in and the dough is smooth and not tacky to the touch. This will take about 10 mins.
Place in a large greased bowl and let it double in size, covered with plastic or a towel out of the draft.
Divide the dough into 3 parts. You can make three loaves of white bread , cinnamon bread or cinnamon rolls.
To make cinnamon bread start by rolling dough on a floured surface to about 16x 8 rectangle. Spread 1 tab. butter on the dough, then sprinkle 2 tab. sugar, and cinnamon to taste, (nuts and raisins are optional). Roll up short end for bread and long end for cinnamon rolls.
Place into greased pans and let them rise in pan until it comes above the top of the pan or doubles in size again. Place in preheated oven and bake till the top sounds hollow and the sides are amber. Turn onto wire rack to cool. You can butter the top with butter for a soft crust.
For a festive bread you can braid it into 3 loaves, put them on a cookie sheets, let them rise, then bake. After removing from oven, bring 1/2 cup honey, 2 tab, butter, and almond extract to a boil for a minute then brush over bread and add slivered almonds for a special treat.
