1 lb Extra Lean Ground Turkey3 large Carrots diced3 small potatoes diced1/2 cup chopped onions1 cup fresh mushrooms chopped1/2 cup chopped celery1 15oz can tomatoes1/2 cup diced zucchini1 cup vegetable (or beef) broth1/4 tsp garlic powder1 tsp bay leaf crumbled2 tsp dried parsley1/2 tsp salt
Brown Turkey on the stove
Place all ingredients in the crockpot
For Best Results - Cook on Low for 8-10 hours
Can be cooked on high for 4-5 hours.
I buy ground Turkey and Ground Beef in Bulk and brown several lbs on the weekend and freeze it in baggies to be used for quick crock pot meals, eliminating the need to precook the meat the morning you are preparing the meal.
