Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken

Ingredients
2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast1 pkg Italian salad dressing mix4 TBS melted butter1 garlic clove1 can 98% Fat Free Cream of Chicken8 oz. Fat Free Cream of Cheese1/2 cup wine or chicken broth
Directions
Place chicken pieces in crock pot & sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken. Sprinkle w/ 2 TBS melted butter.
Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
Melt 2 TBS butter in sauce pan and saute garlic. Add Cream of Chicken, cream cheese, and wine/broth. Stir until smooth.
Add mixture to crock pot and cook on low for 1 more hour.
Serve over cooked egg noodles.

    This recipe makes a very scrumptious sauce. We used low sodium chicken broth and cream of chicken, and it still tasted very salty. The chicken part is okay, but I think you can customize this recipe with veggies, turkey, tuna...anything that will work with a very cheesy sauce. Thank you! - 6/9/09
