Ground Turkey and Italian Squash Rotini

Ingredients
1/2 box Ronzoni Smart Taste Rotini1lb lean ground turkey (93/7)1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil1 medium size zucchini2 white zucchini (you can also use yellow squash, I didn't have any)1 medium size onion3 cloves garlic1 can diced tomatoes (undrained) *All to taste:salt and pepperoreganoparsleybasilgarlic powder
Directions
Dice all vegetables, mince garlic. In a medium sauce pan, bring about 6 cups salted water to a boil, add pasta. While pasta cooks, brown turkey in a large skillet, drain. Place turkey in a bowl, set aside. In same skillet, heat oil, and cook all veggies(except canned tomatoes) until al dente. Once cooked, return meat to pan, along with canned tomatoes and seasonings. Reduce heat and cook until heated through. Once pasta is done, drain and rinse. Serve meat mixture over pasta and enjoy!

    I used yellow squash, green peppers and broccoli - and added stewed tomatoes - was delicious (I just went to easy on the seasonings - will add more next time) - 2/2/13
