Spicy Banana Bread

Whole Wheat Flour, 2 cupBaking Powder, 1 1/2 tspBaking Soda, 1/2 tspSalt, 1/4 tspCinnamon, ground, 1 tbspNutmeg, ground, 1 tsp Egg, fresh, 2 large Banana, fresh, 1.5 cup, mashed Splenda, one cup*Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 1/4 cupVanilla Extract, 2 tbsp Applesauce, unsweetened, 1/2 cup
Stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder and spices in a large bowl. Set aside.
Beat 2 eggs, add bananas (1.5 cup = about 5 medium - I prefer to use the ones that are almost entirely black for the strongest banana flavor), Splenda, applesauce, oil and vanilla.
Pour all wet ingredients into dry. Stir until just blended. Pour batter into a greased 9X5X3 loaf pan.
Bakes at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Cool and slice. Makes 16 servings.
