Honey wheat bread

Ingredients
2 cups 1% milk1 tbsp Sea Salt1/2 cup Honey 3 tbsp Canola oil2 tbsp dry Yeast1/3 luke warm Water4 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour1/2 cup Wheat GermMakes 2 loaves 8 x 4.5 x 2.5
Directions
1. place scalded milk in a large bowl. add salt, honey and oil. mix well and set aside to cool to luke warm.

2. disolve the dry active yeast in warm water. set in warm place for 10 minutes.

3. add yeast mixture to cooled milk mixture.

4. beat in 3 cups of the flour and continue beating till smooth.

5. work in wheat germ and enough of the remaining flour to mak a dough that can be kneaded.

6. knead for 10 moinuets.

7.place dough in a clean oiled bowl, oil the top, cover and set in a warm place to rise until doubled in bulk, about one hour.


8. punch down, knead until smooth, put back in bowl and let rise again about 45 minutes.

9. punch down and divide into two. shape dough into two loaves and place in bread pans.

10. cover and let rise in a warm place until loaves just reach top of pans; do not let over rise.

11. preheat oven to 375 degrees.

12. bake loaves 45 minuets or until loaves sound hallow when tapped on the bottom.
