Baked French Toast

Ingredients
6 tsp. brown sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. vanilla extract3 cups Egg liquid substitute1 cup milk6 slices whole-wheat sandwich bread
Directions
1-Grease 9X13 baking pan
2-Line the bottom of the pan with the bread slices.
3-In a bowl, mix the eggs, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
4- Slowly pour mixture over bread slices.
5- Bake at 375* for about 20 minutes.

TO SERVE:
Separate French Toast slices
Place on Indivual Plates
Sprinkle with powdered sugar

    This sounds really good. I figured that the nutritional info is for the entire recipe, not one piece. Is the bread soggy? I think it'd be better with some thick french bread, but understand the reason for the whole wheat. Just wondering if it gets soggy? Thanks. - 5/7/11
