Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients
1 pkg - whole wheat angel hair pasta1 stick - unsalted butter1.5 cup - extra virgin olive oil1 cup - vermouth10 cloves - garlic, minced1 pkg - frozen broccoli florets1 T - dried oregano1 T - dried basilSalt & pepper to taste
Directions
Prep pasta pot - add water, salt & olive oil over high heat & bring to a boil.

Meanwhile, melt stick of butter in the bottom of a wok, along with olive oil. Add minced garlic and saute for a couple minutes. Then add the vermouth & spices and bring to boil. Once boiling, add the frozen broccoli and cover to let it steam. Stir occasionally, and continue simmering until the broccoli is almost done. Then add the pasta to the boiling water, and the broccoli should be done by the time the pasta is ready.

Drain the pasta and toss it with the broccoli mixture in the wok. Serve immediately and add grated Parmesan (optional) if you like.
