Lemon-Pepper Pork Chops

4 pork chops3/4 tsp each garlic salt & lemon pepper3 tbsp lemon juice1 tbsp olive oil
Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with garlic-pepper mixture. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chops and cook about 5 mins on each side until chops brown lightly. Reduce heat, add several tablespoons of water, cover and simmer 10 mins. Transfer pork chops to serving plate to keep warm. Stir lemon juice into pan drippings, heat and stir constantly until they blend. Spoon drippings on pork chops.

My husband:"These are some of the best pork chops I've ever had!" That's good enough for me! I did not use the lemon juice because I wasn't sure my family would like it. I may try it next time, and just put it on the side for whoever wants to try it. Also used nonstick skillet with cooking spray. - 10/9/09
