Passover Macaroni and Cheese

3 large eggs6 whole matzos broken into small pieces1c milk1t salt.24t ground white pepper8oz cheddar cheese cut into 2-inch pieces1 pint sour cream1 stick butter cut into 16 pieces
1. Preheat the oven to 350. In a medium bowl, lightly beat 2 of the eggs and mix in the broken matzo.
2. In another bowl beat the remaining egg with the milk, salt, and pepper.
3. Great or spray a casserole. Place half the matza mixture and half the cheese in the dish. Add half the sour cream, distributing it in dollops evently on the surface, then half of the butter pieces. Make a second layer in the same fashion. Pour the milk mixture on top.
4. Cover the dish and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer to brown the top. Cut into squares and serve.
I used an 8x8 dish and cut it into 9 squares.
