Ingredients:Onions, raw, 1 large Yellow Bell Pepper, 1 largeBeans, black, 2 cup Chick Peas, 2 cup Brown Rice, long grain, 2 cup Irish Oatmeal (McCann's), 2 cup Pepper, black, 1 tbsp Salt, 1 tsp Sweet Corn, Fresh, 2 cup
Directions
Process all in food processor - Fy in hot skillet in a bit of oil 15 min. on each side.

    next time we make it, we should try replacing one of the cups of rice with an extra cup of beans to up the protein and lower the carbs

    Good Idea. And we need to add extra spices to add a bit of zip. And if we replace the oats with buckwheat it would be gluten free.

    I hope that's cooked rice this recipe calls for otherwise that's a LOT of rice! I will give these a try and add a bunch of spices as mentioned below. Maybe a few slices of fresh jalapenos in each burger would be good, too. - 3/5/13
