Coriander Pulao

Long grained rice - 1 cup,3 cups of water,Butter - 3 tbspcurry poder-1tbsp/garam masalasalt-to taste,sliced onion-1 medium,Frozen/fresh peas - 0.5 cupCurry paste:coriander leaves -1 bunchginger 1"slice- 5 slices,garlic-5 cloves,red chillies dried or green chillies-to taste,cumin seeds-1 tbsp,grated coconut-1 cuponion m edium - 1
Wash n soak long grained white rice for 5 mins.
Grind list of items given for curry to a paste.
Heat a pan n add 3 tbsps of butter.
Add onions n saute.
Once a little pink, add soaked rice after draining all water.
Fry for a minute.
Add ground masala , peas n fry for 2 more minutes.
Boil 3 cups of water and add to rice.
Add salt, curry powder to taste.
Close pan n reduce heat as low as possible n cook for exactly 10 mins.
Check seasonings n if rice is done well.
Serve with yoghurt or any raitha.
