Sweet & Sour Beef

Ingredients
1 lb Round steak, cubed (or ground beef)Sauce:1/3 cup Heniz Ketchup1/3 cup White Vinegar1 cup Brown Sugar1 Tbsp Soy Sauce1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce (watch for GF status)1 cup cold water mixed with 3 Tbsp cornstarch
Directions
Brown & drain cubed steak on stovetop. As this is cooking make sauce.

Combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce and worcestershire sauce in a pot. Turn heat to medium-low. Combine cold water and cornstarch & dissolve. Slowly add to pot. Whisk until well combined. Heat until thickened, stirring occasionally.

Place beef in a greased casserole dish. Pour sauce on top. Cook at 325 degrees for 1 hour or more. If it will be more than 2.5 hours, reduce heat to 300 or 250. The longer it sits, the better, but you can serve in as little as 30 minutes if time is short. If you make it with ground beef, you could pour the sauce right on top in the frying pan, simmer for 15-20 minutes & serve.

We like it best with rice.

Divide into 6 portions and serve.
