Greek Gyros ala Molly

Ingredients
19.2 oz HoneySuckle White Ground Turkey3/4 tsp Cumin 3/4 tsp Oregano (crush between palms of hands)1/2 tsp each pepper and salt4 garlic (roast 30 minutes in oven)cool & mash1/2 C Feta CheeseSauce:1/2 Cucumber peeled and diced1 clove garlic chopped1 T fresh mint chopped3/4 C Dannon NonFat Plain Yogurt1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar4 Papa Pita Whole Wheat Pita Bread (6 inches)Topping:1 Tomato diced1/2 C Red Onion Diced1 C. shredded lettuce
Directions
Prepare Garlic Cloves (I used a whole head tops cut off)sprayed with olive oil cooking spray. roast in oven 350 degrees 30 minutes.
In a Medium size bowl add the ground turkey meat, spices roasted mashed garlic and feta cheese mix well until everything is incorporated. Divide the mixture into 4 burgers. pat into rounds and grill on hot grill that has been sprayed with cooking spray. cook about 8 minutes total. or until done.

I prepare my sauce while the garlic is roasting.
Sauce:
Add the 1/2 diced cucumber 1 chopped garlic and 1 T. fresh mint leaves to 6 oz of fat free dannon plain yogurt. add the 1 tsp red wine vinegar.
2 T. equals 15 calories.

Prepare the toppings next
chopped tomato, diced red onion and shredded lettuce.

Warm the Pita Breads on the Grill until pliable.

When Burgers are done put them in the Pita bread and add toppings and sauce.
