Quaker Oats Meatloaf

Ingredients
1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef (or combination with ground venison or elk)1 whole egg1 small can V-8 juice (5.5 oz.)1/4 c. chicken broth1/2 - 3/4 c. chopped sweet onion1/4-1/2 c. chopped sweet red pepper1/2 tsp. saltpepper as desired3/4 c. quick or old fashioned oatmeal, dry
Directions
Beat egg slightly with a fork and add liquids. Mix well into ground meat(s), onion/pepper and oatmeal. Press into bread pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let set for 5 minutes before serving.
