Double Oat Granola

Ingredients
Nonstick cooking spray2 ½ cups regular rolled oats1 cup toasted oat bran cereal½ cup toasted wheat germ 1/3 cup pecans, coarsely chopped½ cup unsweetened applesauce 2 Tbsp. honey1 Tbsp. canola oil¼ tsp. ground cinnamon 1/3 cup snipped dried cranberries, snipped dried tart cherries and/or dried blueberries.

Directions: Preheat the oven to 325 F. Lightly coat a 15x10x1-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a large bowl stir together oats, oat bran cereal, wheat germ, and pecans. In a small bowl stir together applesauce, honey, oil, and cinnamon. Pour applesauce mixture over cereal mixture. Using a wooden spoon, stir until applesauce is evenly distributed.

Spread granola evenly onto prepared pan. Bake about 40 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes. Stir in dried fruit. Transfer to a large piece of foil; cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
