Swiss-Onion Potato Bake

1 cup finely chopped sweet inion2 tbsp. butter1 pkg. (30 oz.) frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed2 cups (8 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper2 eggs1 cup milk
1. In a small skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, cheese, salt, pepper and onion mixture.
2. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. In a small bowl, whisk eggs and milk; pour over potato mixture.
3. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
