Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
1 Pound ground turkey 95% lean1 medium onion chopped1 medium green pepper chopped8-10 Mushrooms sliced3 celery ribs copped1 1/2 tsp Garlic2 can (14 1/2oz) stewed tomatoes1 Jar (26oz) spaghetti sauce1/2 cup Ketchup2 tsp brown sugar1 tsp splenda1tsp salt1 tsp oregano1 tsp chili powder1 tsp prepared mustard
Directions
Cook turkey, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, celery, and garlic. Drain any juices. Combine all other ingredients and simmer on stove top for one hour or in your crock pot for 4-5 hrs. Serve over your pasta. This yields 12 servings and freezes well.

    A little too sweet so I altered the chili pepper to 2 tsp. But still has that 'sweet, sloppy joe taste' so when I've altered enough to just cut it enough I'll give the info. All in all a nice recipe and much appreciated. Thanks! - 8/21/09
