Sauteed String Beans

Ingredients
2 tabelspoons olive oil1 pound fresh grenn beans, trimmed and snapped1 clove garlic (minced)Black pepper to taste (das)1 small onion (chopped)
Directions
Heat oil in wok over high heat. Redue heat to medium and place beans, garlic, and onions in the wok , cover and cook 10 mins, stirring occasionally. Season with black pepper and contiue to cook for another 5 mins or utnil your desired tenderness.

    I tried blanching the beans first then adding to heated oil and herbs. It keeps the beans nice and crispy. - 2/2/10
