Ingredients
1 lb chicken gizzards1 cup carrots, chopped1 cup celery, chopped1 cup onion, chopped2 cups chicken broth2 tsp salt1 tsp pepper3 cups cooked brown rice
Directions
Add the gizzards, vegetables, broth, salt and pepper to your crockpot. Cook on low for 5-6 hours(whichever works better for you). Serve over the cooked rice.

makes 6 servings of 1/2 cup rice and about 1-1 1/2 cups soup.

    A really good recipe, made gizzards for the 1st time tonight; turned out pretty good. I added a cup of sliced fresh mushrooms to this recipe & 1/2 cup of cornstarch at the end to thicken into gravy, next time I would cut the amount of pepper in half though. Tasty :) - 10/20/13

    use 4 cups of chicken broth. can put over rice or noodles. used mrs dash chicken seasonings and lemon pepper. - 2/25/11

    I really like this. I usually just add celery and onion and chicken broth. I like to thicken the broth with some water and corn starch so it is more like a gravy over my rice. Yes they are super tender when you fix them in the crock pot. - 1/8/11
