whole wheat blueberry muffins

Ingredients
1 lg egg, 1/2 cup nonfat milk, 1/4c unsweetened applesauce, 1.5 cups whole wheat flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup chopped raw almonds, 3/4 cup fresh blueberries
Directions
Heat oven at 400 degrees. Spray muffin tins with oil spray. Mix all wet ingredients and mix all dry ingredients separately. Then combine all together until dry ingredients are moistened. The batter will be lumpy. Divide batter into 12 muffin cups. Bake for 20-25 mins until done and browned.

    This is a good recipe. I think next time I may put in a little more sugar because I like my muffins a little sweeter. Also, for some reason there wasn't quite enough batter for 12 muffins. But all in all, a good, flavorful muffin that I will make again. - 6/29/10
