2 TBSP White Sugar1/2 c Brown Sugar packed1/2 c Softened Butter1/2 tsp Vanilla 1 Egg3/4 c Flour1/2 tsp Baking Soda4 Pouches any flavour "Instant Quaker Oatmeal"1 - 2 TBSP Water1/2 c Raisins - optional
Heat oven to 325 F
Sift together flour and baking soda
Stir in Quaker Oats
In a separate bowl - cream together white sugar, brown sugar and butter (butter should be melted or slightly less than room temp)
Add egg and vanilla
Beat until smooth
Add dry mixture and then water
mix well (you can just use a spoon for this part)
Add raisins if you want
Drop from teaspoon - bake 10 - 12 minutes or until light brown
Makes 24-36 cookies depending on how much dough on spoon.
