Sadie's Spilt Pea, Lentil, Carrot, and Tomatoe Soup

Ingredients
14 cups of water1 cup of lentils1 cup of split peas1/2 T Extra Light Olive Oil1/4 cup chopped onions2 cups chopped fresh carrots1 T. Basil1 t. paprika2 cups chopped tomatoees with juice
Directions
Rinse lentils and peas.
Cook in 9 cups of water for 30 minutes.
In a large pot, add olive oil and onions. Saute for about 5 minutes.
Add carrots and 1 cup of water. Cook for about 5-10 minutes.
Add 4 cups of water, lentils, peas, basil paprika, and tomatoes.
Cook for about 30-45 minutes
