4 oz cooked bratwurst, sliced into bite sized pieces.1 medium sweet potato, peeled and cubed2 medium potatoes, scrubbed well and cubed.1 onion, chopped1 cup lentils, rinsed and sorted8 oz baby carrots6 cups water2 bay leaves1 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp black pepper1 tbls curry powder
Place all the ingredients in the crock pot.
Stir once.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.

I am going to try this recipe, but I'm going to omit the curry powder and garlic powder. I'm going to reduce the amount of water and add at least one bottle of a dark creamy beer, more likely two. I will also add onions. I am undecided as to whether or not I'll add the bay leaves. And salt for potat - 3/25/10
